Photography Workshops Isle of Skye and Day Photo Tours
The Isle of Skye
The Isle of Skye is becoming one of the “must visit locations” on the photographers bucket list. The island has now become the second most visited location in Scotland after Edinburgh. Skye has everything a photographer could ever wish for, dominated by the Cuillin mountain range, that can be seen from most locations on the island, spectacular waterfalls, at 1,656 square kilometres (639 square miles), Skye is the UKs second-largest island after Lewis and Harris, which means there are miles and miles of impressive coastlines and of course impressive rock formations like the Old Man of Storr and the Quiraing, in short it is a Landscape photographers dream.
My name is Gordon Charlton; I fell in love with Skye some years ago now and after visiting the island numerous times we decided to move here. We bought a guesthouse in Dunvegan, (Atholl Guest House) which we have fully renovated and is the base for our photography workshops.
Our courses are tailored to your ability, and fitness levels, there are many iconic Isle of Skye compositions that can be taken from or a short distance from where we park our vehicle, there are also some that will take a little more effort and hiking to get the shot. All levels can be catered for and if you have any questions please use the contact page to get in touch. We look forward to meeting with you on Skye, where likeminded photographers are waiting to have fun and capture some fantastic, iconic Skye Landscapes.
